CHRIST MADE ALL THINGS

By faith, I believe Christ made all things  .   .   .  I believe what the Bible says about WHO created or made all things is accurate and I believe that "without Him nothing was made that was made".

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
                John 1:1-3

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
                Genesis 1:1

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
                Genesis 1:3

Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
                Genesis 1:6

Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
                Genesis 1:9

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.
                Genesis 1:11

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so.
                Genesis 1:14-15

Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.  He made the stars also.
                Genesis 1:16

Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above
the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind.
                Genesis 1:20-21

Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.
                Genesis 1:24

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;  .  .  .  So God created man in His Own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
                Genesis 1:26, 27

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
                Genesis 2:7

Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
                Genesis 2:22

Think about the one thing that you have put the majority of your personal effort, passion, time, work and desire into; the one thing that you take the greatest pride in, up to now in your life.  Is it your education?  Is it the quality of your relationships?  Is it your purposeful work as a parent?  Is it a significant business or financial accomplishment?  Perhaps you have achieved outstanding success in sports.  Maybe you are an artist.  Perhaps you are gifted in using your hands and you are very creative.  Perhaps you have written some outstanding works.

What is the greatest accomplishment in your life, so far?

Now, think about how you would feel if other people explained this 'work', to which you had committed the majority of your life, by describing it as an 'accident', or the result of several 'random events', or as having come about through 'natural selection', or that your accomplishment was, in fact, the 'work' or accomplishment of some other person?

And, as a part of their explanation, regarding your greatest personal accomplishment, others specifically denied you the credit for what you had achieved; credit which was rightly yours.

Honestly, how would you feel?
